You pay 4$ to block EVERYTHING. If you want to choose what to block, gotta get the 10 more $ option... got sc*ewed !

I am very happy with Mobicip and found it a great solution, answering the need to control the Internet access of my children on their iPads. The additional features of the yearly subscription are very welcome and worth the price paid.

This app is simply perfect and meet all my expectations. Easy to use and very effective. You can manage several devices and several profiles. Definitely recommend this app. The support is also very responsive, kind and professional (something to deal with my annual subscription and everything was managed in two Hours : I was atonished compared to the standards everywhere else...).

Feels just like Safari, BUT: -starting the app takes pretttttty long, -doesnt save your passwords etc., -it costs EXTRA money to manage any kinds of preferences. These 3 things can be very annoying & therefore Mobicip cant replace Safari.......YET!

As I intend to share my iPad with my daughter, I bought Mobicip Premium version (plus 10US$), activated all available restrictions, disallowed Safari etc. For testing purposes I then started my Google app and searched for several explicit terms. I got EVERYWHERE! On some blog I found Mobicips advice to delete native apps such as Bing or Google from your iPad. No, I will not delete my favourite app just to run Mobicip! To be fair to Mobicip, this seems to be more of an apple/iPad problem, which does not allow to specify a specific browser as single point of entry to the internet. Nevertheless, this purchase has been a waste of money.

We have been using Mobicip for over a year now and are quite impressed and satisfied with the flexibility of the program, update possibilities, competent service and support tean as well as the informative newsletters.

Buyers beware. The 4 99 version blocks almost everything and does not allow the user to change settings. In order to get a useful family safe browsers you have to sign up for premium service which costs 9 99 a year. The developers need to be upfront about this because the app does not do as promised at the 4 99 price. As a family oriented app I expected honesty in advertising and received false representation of the true cost of the product instead. I should add the yearly subscription is not over priced but I do feel taken advantage of by the developers.

Im a youth user of this application. I have to say, it works really well. The filtering is good, it doesnt block websites without any innapropritate content. Overall, I have to say its quite accurate. However, soon after I bought it, I realized that there was an unmentioned $9.99/year service fee to access any of the useful features - custom blocking, basically changing any settings. It blocked completely unnessesary things. However, I contacted customer service about the issue and they provided me with a free 1-year subscription! Overall, I am quite satisfied. Ive been using it for quite a while now, with no issues other than the lack of retina display support for the interface - the pages load fine, but buttons etc. are blurry. Im using an iPod Touch 4g, so it can get annoying. It also takes a while to load up from its selection - but overall its a good application and fairly low in price for its class.

Blocks everything that has so much as the word sword gun or violence. Pathetic.

This is a great app. The other reviews that are whining about a $9.99 yearly service fee need to ask themselves if the safety of their children online is worth a paltry $9.99 per year. Its not as if this price is out of reach for those who have the cash for an iPhone or iPad. Stop whining, buy the yearly service and keep your family safe. If your child was held captive and the ransom was $9.99, would you say that was too much? Lets start putting things in perspective!

Blocks everything, couldnt even login to minor hockey site without upgrade. Waste of money!

Dont listen to those 1 star people! I think it is really good. Blocks stuff kids should not watch. Minor problems.

Blocks content well but wont allow me to do online banking even tho I have it set to allow. To get the full version its like a yearly fee. No thanks atbonline.ca used to work. Not anymore.

What they dont clearly indicate is that you are buying a crippled version of the app (ie one that should be free IMO) and doesnt really work as advertised. After buying this app u need to upgrade to premium version (extra $10) to get true functionality, which isnt even clear they can deliver given how limited this crippled version is. misleading in my opinion, and certainly does do much for instilling any confidence in the publisher.

I have been using mobicip on my sons iPod for the past year and a half and absolutely love it. I have the premium plan and just added it to my other sons iPod that we just got him for his 10th bday. The price is completely worth it for the peace of mind I get knowing they are safe online. And I get a weekly report that tells me what they looked at online. I have control over what they can and cant access, and I cant say enough good things about it.

We have been using this app for several months on both an iPad and an iPod Touch. After trying a number of other safe browsers/blockers, this one was the easiest to use and had the most features that we were looking for. Yes, there is an additional $9.99 fee for a premium subscription (which we wanted to get access to the whitelist feature), but that seemed like a small price for us to pay to know that our kids werent accidentally seeing anything they shouldnt be seeing. We did have a bit of trouble with the pop-up blocker when we installed the app on our iPod, but customer service was amazing - they had to develop a fix for the particular problem we were having, but they were in contact every couple of days just to let us know that they were working on it and what stage they were at. Once we got the fix, it works perfectly. Knowing that there are real people willing to help behind the app means a lot to me. If you are looking for a reliable safe browser, particularly for kids using iDevices, I highly recommend Mobicip. We had problems with a couple of other similar apps allowing things through that never should have been, but this one has been excellent.

I suffer greatly with pornography so I Ben looking for an app that blocks 17 plus content but STILL lets me watcha anime and use google and this app is just that its perfect

Somewhat confusing with the pricing in the beginning but what a great program. Weve been able to protect our children, especially our son with Down Syndrome! Thank you Mobicip and keep up the good work!!

Works great and even tells you how to disable your default browser, so all the kids see is this one.
