Parental Control App - Mobicip App Reviews

This is a fantastic app. Weve purchased a year membership to upgrade the service. A small price to pay for our childrens internet security. I love that we can set time limits, disable certain sites etc. We can customize it for each of our Apple products.

This has been a great tool for our family in terms of security and checking up. I highly recommend it.

For the most part this is a good browser that does what it says but since the last major update it has been freezing constantly forcing me to totally close and reboot the app. Fix this please!

Excellent application: performs blocking and monitoring fantastically. The app looks great, functions smoothly, and has not once glitched out! Highly recommend (premium especially) if you need a strong, reliable—yet not over-blocking internet safe browsing app for your phone and/or computer. Yes it costs money, but that is expected when youre paying for quality services.

I found this to be a wonderful app. It worked quite well for blocking explicit content. My only qualm was that if the restriction settings get too specific it makes using the Internet almost impossible. However that cannot be helped due to the nature of the Internet. I would recommend this app to others and the premium is definitely worth the Extra money.

DONT GET THIS APP. I was looking up how to make rainbow loom stuff and it BLOCKED every single video out. All of the perfectly fine things that arent bad, are being BLOCKED.

I would highly suggest this app. I used it on my sons iPod and it was very effective. The web portal to manage the app was user friendly and easy to work with.

Happy user of Mobicip for over 3 years and found it to meet all of our needs: blocking unwanted content, reviewing sites and setting up time parameters on the kiddos multiple electronics. A great and easy to use tool that sends reports to you (so no hunting necessary). For the small cost, offers a huge relief.

I would recommend this app to any parent looking for peace of mind when it comes to their kids interactions on their phones, tablets, and/or computers. Easy to use! Excellent customer service!

We had tried several browsers and found this to be the best. We used it for our teenage son who would deliberately go looking for things he shouldnt be. With the profiles and the ability to allow and block sites we were able to set it up for what he needed for school but still block the bad stuff. The reporting to showing sites visit or attempted to is great and very useful! The feature allowing the child is also very useful as you can check it out before granting access. Great product!

This is a great app for anyone. I use this very often. If you have any issues, they are very helpful and kind if you contact them! Overall, great app. Itll keep you safe!

Love love love this app! I love that Im alerted via email asking me to approve my childs request to view a certain webpage. I can still monitor what my children view on the Internet when I cant be with them 24 seven.

I did quite a bit of research looking at other kid-friending Web browser solutions before settling on Mobicip. It offered the filtering control I needed. One feature that was particularly useful, especially if you have kids that need to use their iPhones at school for class work, is the ability for them to request access to blocked pages. You can then instantly approve access to that blocked page remotely. Definitely check it out if you need a filtering solution for browsing...

App works well and is easy to use. Requires a bit of tweaking at first in the settings to prevent over filtering. Desktop version have a little trouble, probably due to incompatibility with drivers/ updates needed on laptop. Customer support is quick and helpful by email. Contacted them about a charge I didnt think was right and they responded and refunded the next morning. Great to see a company committed to such a good cause.

Ive been a satisfied subscriber to Mobicips browser service for 3 years. The filtered replacement browser is a must-have for any iDevice used by kids. You can do the basic setup on the web site by selecting a filtering profile, and then tweak and tune it to your liking. Used in conjunction with the companion Monitor app, I get notifications when my child tries to access a blocked site and can then approve it (if I want to) from my phone similar to iTunes purchasing approvals. The weekly summary reports were helpful to get an idea of usage, sites visited, apps installed, etc. My daughter would occasionally complain that she thought the filtering was too strict at times, but better that than the alternative. The few times I did have issues (like missing reports), support was very responsive to e-mail. Ive had to move the subscription across multiple phones durng my subscription and never had a problem, just a quick e-mail to support and the new device was ready to go.

Mobicip is by far the most comprehensive parental control app available. We have tried them all, but nothing compares. The controls are intuitive, the dashboard user-friendly, and it provides better access on the go. Apple has built some great parental controls, but where they fail, Mobicip picks up the slack. Mobicip is my go-to and my top recommendation to any parent looking to better control or monitor their childs mobile internet use.

Not sure if this is some unknown ability in iOS 10, but I tapped a link in Mail (and I have Safari turned off), and it asked if I wanted to use Mobicip to open the link. I was very surprised; Ive had a couple other browsers (Firefox and Covenant Eyes) but Ive never been able to open links to any other browser but Safari. Now it seems to open links by default.
